Black Friday goodies

Yes, I know Black Friday was last week, but I guess I'll post some of the goodies I got. I wasn't planning on going shopping at first, but I changed my mind the night before.

First on the list was a 19'' LCD monitor at Best Buy. I woke up at 3:45 am so that I could get in line at Best Buy. There were already about 100-200 people in line when I got there at 4:15 am.
The store opened at around 5 am and there was a mad rush inside the store. I managed to snag the monitor I wanted as well as a couple of DVDs. I think most people were there for the cheap laptops.

Next on the agenda was Staples. I got there at about 5:40am and waited in a short line until 6am. The line was nothing compared to what was taking place over at Best Buy. I was just getting small stuff there like cheap photo paper and a free shredder.

Last stop on my list was CompUSA. I got there around 6:30 am and I didn't really want anything, but I picked up a wireless adaptor for $3AR anyway.

My morning ended about 7:30 when I finally got home. My parents had also bought some stuff for me since I couldn't go to all the stores. They went to some hardware stores and picked up some drills and stuff like that. So was it worth it? The deals weren't that great, but for some reason I enjoy "the hunt" and the "mad rush" atmosphere of shopping on Black Friday.

Owww... headache

I woke up with a bad headache today. It's still bothering me even those it's already midday. Oh well, the effects of the medicine... or maybe too much turkey.

My encounter with the Prez

I went to the SF Auto Show yesterday and guess who I ran into! The president seemed very happy and I was grateful that he was able to take a break from his job and attend the event.


The car show was fun... being able to get in the cars and push all the buttons was nice. I got to climb in and out of a hugely impractical Lotus. It makes my Spyder feel like an SUV. Maybe it's my next car after the Spyder?

Actually, I think I am getting a little old. The car I was most impressed with was the Lexus IS 250/350. I would definitely consider it if I was on the market for another car. Yep, just a boring old sedan. Or maybe I'll just be practical and just get my minivan now.

Insomnia?

I'm not sure if it's called insomnia or not, but lately I've been having trouble sleeping. I'm falling asleep okay, but I've been waking up about 4-5 times a night for last couple of nights. If this keeps up, I might be in some real sleep debt.

Wireless Gaming

I decided to get a Linksys Wireless Game Adapter so that I can connect my PS2 to my internet connection wirelessly. I have had a couple of problems setting it up, but I think I have most of the problems worked out now. I haven't been able to get it to work with Xmen Legends 2 though.

For some reason, I can't get the picture to the left to appear smaller....

Two Months left... maybe

Well, I just finished another box of medicine last night. I have about 2 months left on this wonderful drug... Hopefully. I'm going to get my blood drawn today for some more tests and I have another appointment Friday. I'm feeling not too bad these days, but the medicine is definitely taking a toll on me. I've been losing a lot of hair recently so maybe I'll be bald soon. Okay, it's not that bad...

Well, onto some nerdy stuff. Ultimate Spiderman is up for sell on Ebay, and this is going to be the next game I'm going to attempt at playing.
